Josh, the green things are spinach that we cooked with the millet. This recipe made millet more flavorful than it usually is, with veggie broth, herbs, spinach, etc. And the pesto was to die for!
Funwithyourfood, I have never grilled polenta on the BBQ, but especially with this recipe the millet came out so firm, that I'm sure grilling would be a great option. In the photo, they were just fried.
