josh, it really is fabulous! i used fresh onions and they came out al dente (can you use that phrase to describe onions?) so if you like them softer you might want to precook. mushrooms need to be precooked because of the water volume they put out.
bazu, it's "light" whole wheat (2 cups whole wheat to 1 1/2 bread flour) I'm working the kids toward 100% :) recipe is posted on my blog now.
