So only the low-fat muffins are vegan. I had the cranberry, it felt like pure junk food because the muffins I'm used now to are so earnest and wholesome. Good to have in a pinch. There's a TH every few blocks around here.
This was news to me, but very happy news. Now I can join my fellow Canadians as they stream into Timmie's every day (ah, sweet, sweet, conformity). The Tim Horton's website also says that the oatcakes are vegan, as are the sandwich buns. This means they could whip up a veggie sandwich that was vegan. I wonder why their hearty vegetable soup isn't vegan. Anyway, as Carla says, the muffins aren't really that great, but it's good to know.
Well as for me, I cannot stand Tim's coffee and the only way in the past for me to drink it was to put in a lot of cream and sugar! So I go to Starbucks and get soy milk in my coffee and have my own muffins i make at home.
any hints on what this mysterious coffee and donut chain is?

ReplyDeleteOh yes, and they actually are low fat, according to the nutrition guide (2.5g of fat compared to 17-19g for the regular muffins).
