Yeah, they sell premade mixes. From lemonade to iced tea mixes, to cookies and brownies. None of the baked goods are ever vegan, but this one is peanut, soy, dairy and egg free! All you do is add water and melted margarine! It was totally overpriced, but so worth it!
food at pier 1? get outta here! thank the vegan gods/goddesses for that. there's a line in a book by dean koontz that says something to the effect of when there isn't hope, there's cake...and there's always cake.
Hi! Just stumbled on your blog a couple days ago. It's really good!
I had no clue Pier 1 sold cake mixes. I thought they were strictly into interior decorating/furniture type stuff. Vanilla cake sounds really good right now....mmmmm!!!
Awww, and I second/third/fourth all the astonishment being expressed about cake mixes at Pier 1. It's clearly a ploy to draw us into their shops and spend our hard-earned money on wicker furniture.
What a strange place to find cake mix--but the cake is adorable!
ReplyDeleteCute icing! I didn't know they sell food at Pier 1 either.
