oh my god. i LOVE turnip cake! unfortunately, it's usually made with bits of meat in it.

really? I've never seen them with meat... but maybe that's because I've usually ordered them at veggie places!

Usually it's made with meat cause chinese ppl need their pork like air.

You've been exceptionally lucky. ;)

Oh another ingredient they add in my neck of the woods is dried shrimp.
