Josh:

Actually, the first 451 pleasures all involve baking in one way or another...!

Nice, what did you use for a starter?

I have a sourdough starter at home- we've been keeping it alive for 7 months and counting! If you want more info on it, search "sourdough" on my blog- I bake with it a lot!

I've always wished I could make homemade bread that was as crispy and delicious as yours looks!

I'm confused, I thought that margarine had whey in it...do vegans eat whey?

Many margarines do not have whey and are indeed vegan. Most grocery stories carry a vegan margarine nowadays (even if it's not labeled vegan) - just check the ingredients list.

sourdough starter is a living creature that you are exploiting for your selfish ends. you might as well put bacon into your bread if you're going to use sourdough starter.
