Awesome! I've taken to adding coconut to random things. Well, mostly peanut butter and banana sandwhiches. I'll have to start calling them "aloha sandwhiches."

I also like the idea of adding oats to smoothies. How much did you add? Can you taste the oats or is it just for texture?

And A+ presentation!

I like your "aloha sandwich" idea! What else have you added coconut to?

The smoothie recipe I use says "a small handful" for the oats. You CAN taste the oats - it's delicious. I think it's mostly for added nutrition and thickening though.

My kids LOVE these smoothies and we almost always use the fancy glasses because, well, it's fun to be fancy for no reason when you're 4, 5 and 7 years old. They think I'm really smart, too, because I put "strawberry ice cubes" in to keep the drinks cold (you know, those chunks of frozen strawberry that just refuse to blend and just spin around in the blender? oh, maybe that's just a problem I have)
