fruit salad




A refreshing breakfast of: papayas, mangoes, bananas, and kiwi, tossed with a little orange juice.

With so much more fresh produce available this time of year, not a day goes by without a large fruit salad - that one looks particularly refreshing and delicious! Yum!

Kiwi, with the skin? Do you eat the skin? I'm scared of eating kiwi skin, it's furry!

Erin, yes I do eat the skin! I've been doing it ever since high school, when a friend dared me to. As long as it's scrubbed well, and not too rough, the skin is totally edible. =)

I’m sure the skin has all sorts of healthy phytochemicals and what not but I’m with Erin—it’s furry and I’m not eating it :)
