It's a pie muffin! (a little pie shaped like a muffin)
From the Breezy Hill Orchard and Cider Mill stand at the Fort Greene farmers market in Brooklyn. Apparently they made the pie muffins vegan by accident at first, but when I went back another week they were still vegan :)

Oh this looks great! I've never been to the fort green farmer's market... this give me hope. I've always wanted to veganize brioche, but didn't think it would be possible. This pie muffin reminds me of the look/texture of brioche, which is awesome!

Yay! I'm glad they kept the item such that most people (maybe gluten-intolerant wouldn't?) would eat it, regardless of food preferences! :)
